The January Edit

Well, well, we are again. Another year, another chance to start with a clean slate and really buckle down to make this year our year.

Right. So for those of us somewhat grounded in reality, yes, it is indeed January of 2018. And yes, I am a firm believer in improving oneself - but not only once a year with ambitious "resolutions" that rarely make it past February 1st. Self improvement and inner peace is something that is a constant work in progress (at least for me), and certainly is not contained or achieved by writing down a few goals and hoping for the best.

But enough of the existentialism. Let's talk outfits.

I pulled together a few of my favorite looks from this month and, amid countless gawking passerbys exclaiming "she must be so cold!!" (they were correct, but beauty is pain, amiright?), took to the native New Yorker's worst nightmare: Times Square. I mean, what better backdrop in which to start the new year than flashing lights and billboards, fully costumed Disney characters, and a plethora of tourists with selfie sticks? I'll wait.

Check out my three favorite looks of the month (so far, that is) below, complete with shoppable links!
